What ShowClix charges
ShowClix doesn't publish its pricing — it is quoted per contract. Below: what that comes to over a year at three volumes, what is not in that number, and what the same job costs when you own it instead of renting it.
What ShowClix publishes
Professional ticketing: 'small per ticket fee... negotiated in your contract and generally paid by the ticket buyer'; license-fee model also possible. showclix.com now redirects to leapevent.tech.
There is no public rate card, so the only figure that exists for you is the one on your own invoice. That is worth finding before your next renewal: a platform that quotes per contract is a platform whose price is negotiable.
What to ask ShowClix before you sign
There is no published rate card, so these are the questions that turn a demo into a number. Ask them in writing.
- What is the fee on a single paid ticket, in money?A percentage and a fixed part, both named. "Competitive" is not a rate.
- Who is charged it — us or the buyer? If the buyer pays, it is still coming out of what they were willing to spend.
- Is card processing inside that number or on top?Normally on top, around 2.9% + $0.30 an order.
- What is the term, and what happens to our data at the end of it?Ask for the export format in writing before you sign, not after.
- What does the fee become if our volume doubles?A share of every ticket grows with you; a build does not.
Once you have that number, ours is simple: a tenth of what you pay now, with hosting, fixes and changes included.
What you would own instead
- The part you actually useMost of a platform like ShowClix goes unused. We rebuild the parts your business runs on and leave the rest out.
- The code and the dataYours, in your own account, exportable on any day for any reason.
- A price that does not scale with your takingsa tenth of what you pay now — hosting and changes included, and it does not grow with your takings.
When to stay put
- You use nearly all of itIf your team lives in every corner of ShowClix and the bill is small, replacing it is work for no gain.
- The fee is tiny against your marginRun the numbers above on your real volume first. If it is noise, leave it.
- It is the only place your customers can find youA marketplace that brings you buyers is selling you demand, not only software. That is worth paying for.

What does ShowClix cost?
ShowClix doesn't publish its pricing — it is quoted per contract. Professional ticketing: 'small per ticket fee... negotiated in your contract and generally paid by the ticket buyer'; license-fee model also possible. showclix.com now redirects to leapevent.tech.
What would ShowClix cost me over a year?
ShowClix quotes per contract, so there is no published figure to work from.
Who pays ShowClix's fee — me or my customer?
By default the buyer pays it at checkout, on top of your own price. It is still your money in the sense that it comes out of what your customer is willing to spend: a fee on top makes your ticket more expensive than it needs to be.
Is card processing included?
No. Taking the money is a separate cost, normally around 2.9% + $0.30 an order, and it is charged whoever you use. The figures on this page leave processing out on both sides so the comparison is like for like.
Is there a cheaper alternative to ShowClix?
That depends on what you actually use it for. Most businesses use a small part of a platform like this — take the money, hold the record, send the confirmation, show the list. That part can be built once and owned, and we price it against your own bill: a tenth of what you pay now, instead of a share of every ticket forever. You keep the code and the data, and the old system keeps running beside it until the new one is proven.
