Your privacy matters. Hiro is built so your most sensitive work — your code and your Claude session — stays on your own machine. Here’s exactly what we collect and how we handle it.
01Who we are
Hiro (“Hiro”, “we”, “us”) operates hiro.ly and the Hiro desktop app — a cockpit that orchestrates AI agents on top of your own Claude account. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
02What we collect
We keep data collection minimal:
- Account — your email address, used for passwordless sign-in.
- Billing — handled by our payment processor (Whop). We never see or store your full card number.
- Workspace data — in the cloud Builder we store session names, project metadata, and activity needed to run your fleet.
- Local data — the desktop app runs on your machine; your code, files, and Claude session stay on your computer, not on our servers.
03How we use it
To provide and operate the service, authenticate you, process your subscription, respond to support, keep the product secure, and improve it. We do not use your private code or content to train models.
04Your own Claude account
Hiro runs on your own Claude login on your own machine. We do not charge per token — model usage runs under your Claude account, subject to Anthropic’s terms. We do not access your Claude credentials beyond what the local engine needs to run on your device.
05Sharing & processors
We do not sell your data. We share data only with the processors that run the product:
- Whop — subscription billing and payments.
- Vercel — hosting and delivery.
- Resend — transactional and sign-in emails.
- Anthropic (Claude) — model calls made under your own account.
06Data retention
We keep your account and workspace data while your account is active. Request deletion any time and we’ll remove your data, except where we must keep records (e.g. billing) by law.
07Security
Data is encrypted in transit. We use industry-standard safeguards. No method is perfectly secure, but the desktop architecture keeps your most sensitive material — your code and Claude session — on your own machine.
08Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email support@hiro.ly and we’ll help. Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR/CCPA) you may have additional rights.
09Cookies
We use a single signed session cookie to keep you logged in. We don’t run advertising trackers.
10Children
Hiro isn’t directed to anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect data from children.
11Changes
We’ll update this page and the “last updated” date when this policy changes. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
